    Nestled in the vibrant Ballantyne area of Charlotte, North Carolina, Ballantyne Ridge High School is thrilled to open its doors to the community this August 2024. Our state-of-the-art institution is designed to cater to the educational needs of students in the Ballantyne and Pineville areas, providing a dynamic and inclusive learning environment that fosters both academic and personal growth.

     

    At Ballantyne Ridge High School, we are proud to offer the International Baccalaureate (IB) program, renowned for its rigorous and holistic approach to education. Our mission is to cultivate globally-minded students who are prepared to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. With the IB framework at the heart of our curriculum, we ensure that our students develop critical thinking skills, cultural awareness, and a passion for lifelong learning.

     

    Initially, Ballantyne Ridge High School will welcome students in grades 9 through 11. As we grow, our offerings will expand to include grade 12, providing a comprehensive high school experience. This phased approach allows us to focus on delivering an exceptional education tailored to the unique needs of our inaugural students while laying the foundation for future classes.
