Technology Basics at BRHS

  • APPROVED DEVICES

    1. All students will be issued a ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Chromebook for their school work.  This is the only device that students may use during class time.  Individual classes that require different devices will provide them to students during class.

    2. Personal computers, iPads, etc. MAY NOT be used during class time.  Use of these devices falls under the school’s cell phone/personal technology policy and will follow the progressive consequences outlined therein.

    3. Students are responsible for bringing their charged Chromebook to school every day.  We are unable to give out temporary "loaner" Chromebooks or chargers.

     

    TO RECEIVE THEIR CHROMEBOOK, ALL STUDENTS MUST…

    WHEN STUDENTS HAVE A TECHNOLOGY QUESTION, THEY SHOULD…

    1. Check the school’s troubleshooting guide

    2. Turn in a help ticket at

      1. Check student email for a follow-up from Mr. Weber

      2. Mr. Weber will call you down to his office if in-person follow-up is needed

      3. Most tickets are resolved within 24 hours.  If you haven’t had a response within 3 school days, please contact .
