VISUAL ARTS at Northwest is a creative, vibrant environment where students and staff are passionate about nurturing and growing their art and preparing for a lifetime of creative work.
Led by award-winning teachers and practicing professionals, student artists can immerse themselves in the study and practice of visual arts. Along the way, they gain practical skills, explore the intellectual ideas behind artistic expression and develop their own creative powers.
Middle school students are immersed in broad, year-long visual arts foundation classes, while high school students explore a range of visual arts disciplines not matched in depth and breadth by any other school in the district.
At Northwest, artists can discover their true potential
