Greetings Wolverine Families! We had a great week of teaching and learning.
Next week Tuesday September 17th and Wednesday September 18th, our scholars will participate in the i-Ready diagnostic assessment. i-Ready is an online program for reading and math that will help your scholar’s teachers determine your scholar’s needs, personalize their learning, and monitor progress throughout the school year. i-Ready allows our teachers to meet your scholar exactly where they are and provides data to increase your scholar’s learning gains. i-Ready consists of two parts: Diagnostic and Personalized Instruction. Please make sure scholars bring their charged decvices to school, get plenty of rest, and report to school on time.
Next week volleyball and softball games will take place at Wilson STEM Academy on Monday September 16th beginning at 5:00 PM against JM Alexander. Thursday September 19th our softball game will take place at Mint Hill Middle school. Here at Wilson STEM Academy is it the expectation that our supporter cheer FOR our team and NOT AGAINST the opposing teams. We will uphold sportsmanship at all times.
