Welcome!!!!  I am fortunate to be the principal of this GREAT school. â€‹I have been in education for 30 years and with ¾«¶«´«Ã½ for 24 years. I have served in numerous roles during this time. Being named ¾«¶«´«Ã½ Principal of the Year was the highlight of my career.  I've also had the unique opportunity to open two new schools within ¾«¶«´«Ã½ as principal. I opened Merancas Middle College High School in the fall of  2017 and Ridge Road Middle School in 2009.  Previously, I served as principal at Hawthorne High School and Midwood/TAPS. During my tenure as an assistant principal, I worked at Hopewell High School, Vance High School, and J.M. Alexander Middle School.

I am active in the community, serve on numerous boards, and am a member of various organizations. I am currently a member of the board at the Keith Family YMCA, SYDKIMYL Educational Consulting, and EmpowHERment. I am also a member of the Charlotte Chapter of the Links Incorporated and Delta Sigma Theta Incorporated. I have been married for 19 years and have one son.
